Project Overview
Wenergy has successfully delivered and deployed a 1.725MW / 3.85MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Bulgaria for a PV + ESS application. The project is designed to capture excess photovoltaic generation and discharge during peak demand periods, addressing the mismatch between solar output and grid demand while enabling stable, market-driven revenue streams.

Solution Highlights
The system integrates advanced lithium battery technology with Wenergy’s intelligent Energy Management System (EMS), enabling precise charge and discharge control based on real-time grid conditions and pricing signals. The standardized configuration ensures high system reliability and streamlined deployment.
By leveraging optimized dispatch strategies, the BESS stores surplus solar energy during low-demand periods and releases it during peak pricing windows. This enhances overall system efficiency while supporting grid stability and flexibility.
