Project Overview
Wenergy has completed the delivery and commissioning of a distributed PV + Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Bulgaria, marking another milestone in its European market expansion. The system is configured with 4 × 289kWh battery units and 125kW PCS, designed to support solar integration and efficient grid interaction in a commercial-scale application.
Solution Highlights
The project leverages a modular BESS architecture, enabling flexible deployment and high system reliability. By coupling photovoltaic generation with energy storage, the solution captures surplus solar energy and enables controlled export to the grid, addressing the intermittency of renewable generation.
An advanced Energy Management System (EMS) coordinates real-time operation, optimizing charge and discharge cycles based on generation profiles and grid conditions. This ensures efficient energy dispatch while maintaining system stability and performance.
