Wenergy’s 10MW / 20MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) is currently en route to Zambia for Phase II of a solar + storage + diesel hybrid microgrid project. The deployment is designed to support large-scale mining operations with stable, efficient, and flexible power supply under challenging grid conditions.
Building on the success of Phase I, the additional BESS capacity will further optimize the integration of photovoltaic generation and diesel backup. The system enables advanced energy management, improves load balancing, and enhances overall microgrid performance.
