Wenergy Completes First Offshore Shipment for U.S. Energy Storage Project

2025-12-01

Wenergy has successfully completed the first outbound shipment for a customized battery energy storage project in the United States, marking a key step forward in project delivery. The initial shipment includes 3.472 MWh of BESS units and related auxiliary equipment, which have now departed from port, officially initiating the project’s overseas deployment phase. This milestone paves the way for upcoming on-site installation and system commissioning.

The systems will be used in a solar–storage–DC charging integrated project in the U.S., designed to support renewable-powered EV charging applications.

Solar–Storage–DC Charging Integration

The complete project scope consists of 6.95 MWh of battery energy storage capacity together with a 1,500 kW DC converter.

As part of the first delivery phase, 3.472 MWh of energy storage systems paired with a 750 kW DC converter are being deployed to construct a clean energy infrastructure combining solar generation, energy storage, and DC fast charging. The project is expected to improve renewable energy utilization while enabling more efficient and sustainable EV charging.
