Wenergy Expands C&I Energy Storage Collaboration with Poland-Based SG

2026-01-19

In December, Wenergy strengthened its strategic partnership with SG, a leading renewable energy system integrator in Poland, through the signing of a new commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage cooperation agreement.

The expanded partnership reflects strong mutual trust built through previous project execution and highlights Wenergy’s ability to scale energy storage deployment, local delivery, and partner enablement across the European market.

Driving C&I Solar + Energy Storage Adoption in Poland

Under the new agreement, Wenergy will supply SG with a range of C&I battery energy storage systems (BESS) designed for industrial and logistics applications. The portfolio includes the Stars Series 289 kWh ESS cabinet and the Stars Series 192 kWh integrated energy storage solution, which combines MPPT functionality with EV charging support.

These systems will be deployed at factories and warehouse facilities across Poland, supporting on-site renewable energy consumption, energy cost optimization, and low-carbon operations.

Industrial Facilities: Maximizing Solar Self-Consumption

The 289 kWh energy storage system will be paired with on-site solar PV systems, enabling daytime charging and nighttime discharge. This configuration improves solar utilization, reduces grid electricity dependence, and supports peak shaving for industrial users.

Warehouses: Solar, Storage, and EV Charging in One System

The 192 kWh integrated solution will directly connect to PV generation to power warehouse operations while supporting electric vehicle charging infrastructure. The compact system creates a flexible energy hub tailored for logistics and light industrial environments.

A Proven Partnership Built on Performance

Wenergy and SG began their collaboration in late 2023, with an initial C&I energy storage project successfully operating in solar self-consumption and peak shaving scenarios. The system has delivered stable performance and measurable economic benefits, laying a solid foundation for expanded cooperation in 2024 and beyond.

As a local integrator, SG contributes deep knowledge of Poland’s regulatory framework, incentive mechanisms, and customer requirements. Combined with Wenergy’s strengths in ESS system design, manufacturing, and large-scale delivery, the partnership ensures solutions are both technically reliable and well aligned with local application needs.

Scaling Distributed Energy Storage Across Europe

The newly signed agreement marks a shift from pilot deployment to broader commercial rollout. By combining SG’s regional network in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe with Wenergy’s experience in energy storage R&D, vertically integrated manufacturing, and high-volume supply, both companies aim to support Europe’s growing demand for distributed energy storage solutions. These projects will contribute to:

  • Improved grid flexibility

  • Higher renewable energy utilization

  • Reduced energy costs for C&I customers

  • Accelerated decarbonization at the local level

Supporting Europe’s Energy Transition Through Long-Term Collaboration

Looking ahead, Wenergy will continue working closely with SG and other European partners to expand energy storage adoption across diverse commercial and industrial scenarios.

Through reliable technology, localized delivery, and full-scenario deployment experience, Wenergy remains committed to supporting Europe’s clean energy transition and building a more resilient, low-carbon energy system.
